Available PET strapping sizes (stocked)
We currently supply the following polyester (PET) strapping sizes, all manufactured by Sorsa and selected for reliable performance on common strapping machines.
12 mm × 0.6 mm
Commonly used for lighter to medium loads where consistent feeding and clean sealing are critical.
15.5 mm × 0.7 mm
A versatile option for medium to heavier applications, offering a balance of strength and flexibility.
15.5 mm × 0.9 mm
Higher strength PET strap for heavier loads and applications requiring increased holding force.
All sizes are supplied in millimetres (mm). Availability is subject to order quantity (bulk or pallet).

A lot of stoppages we attend are made worse by strap issues: inconsistent strap quality, wrong dimensions, damaged edges, excessive dust/debris, or strap memory/handling problems.
If a machine repeatedly misfeeds, jams, or produces inconsistent seals, we often look at strap specification alongside wear parts and set-up.
